Retrograde: Vintage Camera

Delete Account

Last updated: October 17, 2026

Delete from the app

  1. Open Retrograde.
  2. Open Settings from the camera screen's menu.
  3. Choose Delete Account Data.
  4. Confirm the deletion.

What is deleted

Account deletion removes your Retrograde account, its Apple or Google sign-in links, sign-in sessions, Studio effect records, and any edited Studio photo still waiting to reach your device. It deletes your RevenueCat customer record, including any remaining coins, which cannot be restored afterwards. Retrograde requests deletion of the associated PostHog profile and events. Photos, videos, and saved edits stored on your device or in your photo library are not deleted by this request.

What may be retained

Apple or Google keep their own billing and transaction records under their policies and legal obligations. Retrograde's server logs, which do not contain photos, are kept for a short time for security and then deleted.

Sign in with Apple

If Apple is linked, Retrograde asks Apple to revoke its access when you delete the account. You can also remove Retrograde yourself: open Settings, select your Apple Account, choose Sign in with Apple, select Retrograde, then choose Stop Using Apple ID.

Store subscriptions

Deleting your Retrograde account does not cancel an active subscription. Cancel Retrograde through the subscription settings for the Apple App Store or Google Play account used to purchase it.
