Clean Up Storage - Sweep

Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 11, 2026

Scope and contact

This policy explains how Dan Toulet, doing business as Bon App Lab, handles information in Clean Up Storage - Sweep ("Sweep"). For privacy questions or requests, contact covertodisco@gmail.com.

Photos and videos stay on your device

Sweep is designed to review and organize your photo and video library on your device. Sweep does not upload photo or video content, thumbnails, file names, file paths, capture dates linked to individual media, locations linked to individual media, faces, content classifications, or perceptual hashes to Sweep servers. Smart analysis and cleanup recommendations run on the device.

When you confirm a cleanup, the operating system controls the move to Recently Deleted or its platform equivalent. Sweep does not delete media automatically, and it cannot recover media after the operating system's recovery period has ended.

Permissions and local app data

Sweep requests photo-library access when you choose to scan and clean. Full access is required for a complete cleanup; limited, denied, or restricted access can prevent scanning. Sweep stores the local decision history, Bin state, goals, and progress needed to operate the app. This local data remains under your device and app-storage controls.

Technical data and analytics

Depending on the integrations enabled in a particular release, Sweep may send privacy-filtered technical or product events such as screen and flow identifiers, event outcomes, broad media-category or item-count ranges, file-size ranges, performance timing buckets, purchase or paywall state, and non-media error codes. These events must not contain media content or identifying media metadata.

Session replay is disabled. Crash evidence is limited to technical logs and is not intended to include media screenshots or media identifiers. Sweep does not sell personal information.

Advertising and tracking

If advertising is enabled in your release, personalized advertising is used only after the consent required by applicable law and platform rules. On iOS, Sweep may request App Tracking Transparency permission when required. Denying or limiting tracking results in non-personalized advertising and does not restrict the cleanup features. See Privacy Choices for ways to review these controls.

Purchases

If Sweep Pro is enabled, Apple or Google processes payment details, billing, taxes, refunds, and store transaction records. Sweep does not receive your payment-card number. Bon App Lab may receive the store information needed to provide or restore an entitlement, such as a product, store, entitlement status, and renewal or expiration state.

Accounts and backups

Sweep does not require an account for its current launch experience, and no Sweep account backend is required to use the core cleanup flow. If a future release offers platform backup, it is intended to preserve app progress or settings only; it must not include photo or video content.

Retention, deletion, and requests

Local media remains subject to your photo-library and device settings. You can remove Sweep's local app data by using the operating system's app controls or deleting the app. Because the current launch experience does not require a Sweep account, there is no remote Sweep account record to delete. If you have a privacy request or believe a release has sent information not described here, contact covertodisco@gmail.com.

Service providers and transfers

Apple and Google provide the operating-system and app-store services described above. If analytics, crash reporting, advertising, consent, or purchase integrations are enabled, their providers may process the limited information needed for those services under their own terms and privacy policies. Those providers may process information in countries other than your own under applicable safeguards.

Children

Sweep is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when Sweep, its providers, or legal requirements change. The date above identifies the current version. Continued use of Sweep after an updated policy is posted means you acknowledge the updated policy.
