Retrograde: Vintage Camera
Delete Account
Last updated: August 14, 2026
Delete from the app
- Open Retrograde.
- Open the account or Pro settings area.
- Choose Delete Account.
- Confirm the deletion.
What is deleted
Account deletion removes the Supabase Auth account used by Retrograde, associated saved-edit recipes and metadata, and the account's server-side purchase or paywall event links. Retrograde requests deletion of the associated PostHog profile and events. Photos and videos stored on your device or in your photo library are not deleted by this request.
What may be retained
Retrograde retains a one-way SHA-256 hash of the deleted internal account identifier to prevent an erased billing identity from being recreated. If promotional Pro access was linked to Apple or Google, Retrograde also retains a one-way SHA-256 hash of that provider-specific identifier and the promotional grant record so the verified owner can recover it without creating duplicate grants. These records contain neither the email address nor the raw provider identifier. The promotional binding remains while the grant is valid; you may request its deletion, but automatic recovery of that promotional access will then be permanently disabled.
Sign in with Apple
If Apple is linked, you can also remove Retrograde from Sign in with Apple after deleting the account. Open Settings, select your Apple Account, choose Sign in with Apple, select Retrograde, then choose Stop Using Apple ID.
Store subscriptions
Deleting your Retrograde account does not cancel an active subscription. Cancel Retrograde through the subscription settings for the Apple App Store or Google Play account used to purchase it.
