Retrograde: Vintage Camera

Terms

Last updated: August 14, 2026

Provider and acceptance

Retrograde: Vintage Camera is provided by Dan Toulet through Bon App Lab. By downloading, accessing, or using Retrograde, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy. These terms supplement the applicable Apple App Store or Google Play terms. If a store's terms conflict with these terms for a store transaction, the applicable store terms control.

Eligibility

Retrograde is not directed to children under 13. If you are under the age of majority where you live, use the app only with a parent or legal guardian's permission and involvement.

License and app ownership

Subject to these terms, Bon App Lab grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Retrograde on devices you own or control. Retrograde, its software, design, names, and other app materials belong to Bon App Lab or its licensors. You may not copy, sell, sublicense, reverse engineer, scrape, or interfere with the app except where applicable law does not allow that restriction.

Your media and saved edits

You retain ownership of photos and videos you create or import. You are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed to use, edit, save, or share them and for complying with applicable law and platform rules. Current Retrograde features process original media on your device rather than uploading it to Retrograde servers. The optional saved-edit library syncs edit instructions and related metadata, not the original photo or video. You are responsible for backups of local media and exports; deleting the app, clearing device storage, or changing photo-library access can make local content unavailable.

Subscriptions and in-app purchases

Retrograde Pro is an auto-renewable subscription sold through Apple in-app purchase or Google Play billing, depending on the user's device. The price, period, and renewal terms shown at purchase apply. The subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled through the applicable store account before the current billing period ends. Apple or Google manages billing, renewal, cancellation, refunds, taxes, and store transaction records. Use Restore Purchases in Retrograde when supported Pro access is missing after a reinstall or device change. Deleting a Retrograde account does not cancel an active store subscription.

Accounts and deletion

The app can create an anonymous account for core functionality. You may optionally link Apple or Google sign-in to restore account data and Pro access. You can request deletion in the app or through Delete Account. Deletion removes the account and associated saved-edit records as described in the Privacy Policy, but does not cancel Apple or Google billing.

Acceptable use

You may not use Retrograde to violate another person's rights, distribute unlawful or harmful material, attempt unauthorized access, or disrupt the app or its supporting services. You may not use automated means to copy or probe the app or its services without permission.

Availability and changes

Features, supported devices, and integrations may change as the app is improved, platform APIs change, or store requirements change. Bon App Lab may suspend or discontinue features where reasonably necessary and may update these terms when needed. Continued use after an updated version is posted means you accept the updated terms.

Disclaimers and liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Retrograde is provided as-is and as available, without warranties that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or preserve every local file or edit. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bon App Lab and Retrograde are not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-data losses arising from use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights or remedies that cannot be waived under applicable law.
